Oracle big data table

Question

Hello I am working in oracle database. I have log table which has more than 8+ lac records. I can keep last 3 months data in LOG table. The application is getting slow coz of it. what can be done? I also want to keep data somewhere but if i create bkup  it will be again in same db schema which will cause same slowness. Thank You in advance !
