thanks for suggestion... sir how can know that which ports are in use in my windows.. as you know that already assigned port can't use... let i have created (0x1F93) one either it works or not.... kindly your help is needed.... Thanks

I am sorry but I think we have reached the limit of what I can do to help. I think I can say that it is a common problem so I assume there is a solution. I know that you can somehow get sockets to assign a port but the problem is how can the client know what port that the server is using. I don't know how to do that. I have encountered this problem on a theoretical manner when I thought about doing network programming but I have not gotten to the point of actually doing it. I have looked at the standard port numbers and I suspect that there might be a port that could be used for just the purpose of a client asking a server what port to use. Look at port 1 (the number 1); it is for a TCPMUX protocol. It is described in TCP Port Service Multiplexer but I am sure there are many other places to get information about it. You might be able to use that port or something like that. You might need to do something extra to improve security, such as encode the port number so unauthorized users would not be able to figure out what port to use. I suppose the most difficult thing to do would be to be able to defeat port scanners since ideally you would not want a port scanner to be able to find the available port.

@ Sam Hobbs : Yeah sir same issue as you have mentioned above... actually I have created a windows services setup that start services of my projects. So i have created a tcp port (8082) now I want to create another services setup for few remaining services but now problem is that i have used same port type and configuration.. Now I don't know that how can I set or change port type... please suggest me...

I don't know if that blog helps but the problem seems obvious to me. Socket addresses consist of a protocol (such as TCP or UDP), an IP address and a port. Only one connection can exist with that combination. UDP is actually a little different but unless you are using UDP that difference is not relevant. Assuming that you are using TCP, then the error message is saying that there is already a connection with the same IP address and port.
