New Offer in Product Based Company

Question

Hi Team, I am having 4.10 Years of experience in Sharepoint technnologies and i am quiet good in design form, master pages, powershell, content archival, building business logic flows and custom solution (on-Prem). I got an offer from product based company with good pay and perks but as an role of application support analyst (L2/L3). 1. Whether is it good to go with the offer and role? 2.Is there scope for the support role candidates in upcoming decades ? kindly advise on this please. Thanks Raghav

Hi Raghvendara, Its depend on you which role you prefer. If you are looking for only good package or thinking on other areas also. If you are in development then definately you will get other good offer as well in other good company. Choice is yours how you want see you in future. Its all about satisfaction, I mean if you are happy with work which you are goining to get (in support role) means you can take that role as well but clarify your work type before taking decision.

Let us know your current role ? have you worked Developer or Support as overall 4.10 years? Note below points (Not mandetory): 1. First ask yourself one question that would you like to work as application support analyst (L2/L3) ? 2. Are you confirmtable with the profile, job location, overall packege etc. 3. Ask few questions to friends or find some information regarding and overall reviews of new compay. 4. If you are getting work on new technology then it will very good for you. 5. Also check the total in hand salary difference in current & whatever you will get from new company, sometime what happens company give us a good amount of package but at the end their as some hidden points like A. Bonus amount also deduct from salary and may gets twice / once in the year B. Their is any variable pay deduction which is also based on performance C. Ask Hr to send salary breakup so you can comapre it with the current salary. Hope so it will helpfull.
