need basic GDI Tuturials links

Question

hi ...... i m new tu GDI+ didn't know how tu use it.......even basics..can any one tell my about its links of basic tutorials and articles......waiting for it

Here is a link to some great tutorials: http://www.codeproject.com/cs/media/#GDI%2B I would check out the Image Processing for Dummies with C# and GDI+ by Christian Graus. He walks you through a lot of stuff and if you don't think the explanation is very good then you can dl the source code and figure it out for yourself because it's not very hard.

You won't find very good tutorials online. I've tried... Here's the basic concept: To draw onto an image (or the monitor) you need to get a graphics context (System.Drawing.Graphics class). To draw on the form, you will have to get the graphics context of the form. You can get it as a passed parameter in the OnPaint method (override it). To draw on a regular image, first create the image (usually Bitmap) and then using Graphics.fromImage you get the graphics context for the Bitmap. Using the graphics context, you can do things like drawing images onto other images, drawing lines, circles, etc. Take a look around this site. There are some good tutorials (more like code samples) here.
