Jquery online and offline

Question

I would like to find a way to test internet connectivity in my app ifthere is connectivity I would like to use google server for jquery if no connectivity I would like my app to use the downloaded jquery file inmy local directory, how can I achieve this?

I am in asp.net mvc with C#

In your bundleConfig.cs add below lines bundles.UseCdn = true ; bundles.Add( new ScriptBundle( "~/bundles/jquery" , "http://ajax.aspnetcdn.com/ajax/jQuery/jquery-1.7.1.min.js" ).Include( "~/Scripts/jquery-{version}.js" )); jqueryBundle.CdnFallbackExpression = "window.jQuery" ; BundleTable.EnableOptimizations = true ; if CDN fails to download it will use local Jquery. in your view/Layout you can use like below @Scripts.Render( "~/bundles/jquery" )

Inside App_Start folder , if there is no class with the name BundleConfig.cs then you can create one, bydefault MVC templates have this class, but if you have selected an Empty MVC template then , you will have to create one like below public class BundleConfig { // For more information on bundling, visit http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=301862 public static void RegisterBundles(BundleCollection bundles) { bundles.Add( new ScriptBundle( "~/bundles/Scripts" ).Include( "~/Scripts/Jquery.js" , "~/Scripts/bootstrap.min.js" , )); } hen register it in global.asax file under Application_Start event like BundleConfig.RegisterBundles(BundleTable.Bundles);

yes , local means which is in your project script folder.
