installation of vs 2015 and ssms

Hello, i want to install visual studio 2015 and compatible sql server on desktop (windows 10) can any one pls provide links to install? which are both free version and which sql server managemnet studio version will be compatible with vs2015? thanks in advance.

Hi , You can get Visual Studio 2015 community edition free from below link https://www.visualstudio.com/vs/older-downloads/ You can download SQL Server 2012 express from below mentioned link https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=29062 VS 2015 is also compatible with SQL server 2008.you can get that from below link https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=7593 I suggest you to use VS 2017 community edition as it has lot new feature and also support .Net core 2.0 and it is also free.You can get that at below link https://www.visualstudio.com/downloads/ You can use any of the above mentioned Sql Server version with VS2017 Community edition.
