InitInstance in MFC

Question

Hi,

Can anyone tell me in Dialog Based Application why are we creating Dialog in InitInstance function,cant we do that outside ?

How does my App class and dialog class are inter-related to each other.?

Does my UI thread holds the dialog.?

It has been so long since I did MFC that I've forgotten half of it. But nine years ago I wrote an article on this very subject. It explains what the App class is doing, what InitInstance is doing, etc. Basically the App class calls InitInstance. InitInstance opens the main window class. In your case, that's the dialog.
