in Jquery checked on checkbox get value in another text

Question

in this image two Question is Checkbox .select is "is other "field that time one textbox is opened then enter this textbox value. I want to be checked on "Other field" then enter this value in below textbox..how to get this textbox value using jquery. this Checkbox multiple Question in one page

Suppose you have 15 question then you had given id of first checkbox = "chkOtherQuestionNo_1" second checkbox = "chkOtherQuestionNo_2" third checkbox = "chkOtherQuestionNo_3" forth checkbox = "chkOtherQuestionNo_4" fifth checkbox = "chkOtherQuestionNo_5" ........ ........ and so on upto 15 Same you have given the textbox id as first TextBox = "txtOtherQuestionNo_1" second TextBox = "txtOtherQuestionNo_2" third TextBox = "txtOtherQuestionNo_3" forth TextBox = "txtOtherQuestionNo_4" fifth TextBox = "txtOtherQuestionNo_5" ........ ........ and so on upto 15 Then you can check in each question whether it has checked for other option checkBox and take value of textbox as shown below var otherAnswer = "" ; for ( var q = 1; q if ($( '#chkOtherQuestionNo_' + q).is( ":checked" )) { //Checking if other option has been checked otherAnswer = $( '#txtOtherQuestionNo_' + q).val(); //Accessing value of other answer } } As every question has one checkbox and extra textbox only you have to check that other option has been checked or not . You can assign the id of textbox or checkbox dynamically also. Suppose your table has 15 records then you have to loop upto 15 times. Suppose your table have 25 question in select statement based on which you are going to create list or question then to access that you need to loop upto 25 times. I have given for loop for dynamically access and creating textbox and checkbox. You can store length in hidden field and loop according to that value.

@suraj sir Question is dynamically added. so there is no limit for any Question. i cant use Textbox to textbox15 this method is not possible.

As you already giving the id then why you are trying to access it by class you can simply access checkbox as well as textbox using id. Do you have checkbox for all questions ? -No,I have radio button Question as well as Checkbox Question Do you want to point out only one textbox value or all(questions) textbox values ? -Yes but id is different When do you want to find the textbox value(means on what action)? You can access textbox in jquery using val() function with their id as shown below var valueOfTextBox = $( '#YourTextBoxId' ).val(); You can also read textbox value dynamically with id as shown below var questionNo = 5; var valueOfTextBox = $( '#YourTextBoxId' + questionNo).val(); Even you can access textbox value in loop also as per requirement.
