Navagate to two pages with check of condition

Question

in my project I have a one log in page in login page user id, password authentication process after that it checks the role of employee if employee is manager then it navigate to employee home page and if employee is manager then it go to manager page.

Hi Vinod, If you are using asp.net Membership and project is in MVC project then first you will have to check the userId of that user which want to be login. string userId = Membership.GetUser(model.UserName).ProviderUserKey.ToString(); //after finding userId you will get roles then you will redirect user specific page(according to user) string[] role = Roles.GetRolesForUser(model.UserName); //Check here roles conditions then redirect if (role.Contains("Manager")) return RedirectToAction("Home", "Manager"); else if (role.Contains("Admin")) return RedirectToAction("Home", "Admin"); else if (role.Contains("Hr")) return RedirectToAction("Home", "HR"); Note if you are using Asp.net then user Response.Redirect("Manager.aspx");

Hello Vinod, When you check the login credential at time u can checked role also save in one variable like strRole. for example ur table role like employee role is 2 and manager role is 1 then check after successful login role is 1 or 2. try like in login page below if( strRole=="1") { Response.Redirect("Manager.aspx"); } else { Response.Redirect(" employee .aspx"); }
