I am creating online exam web application using asp.net core

Scene is I need to craft Student Exam Attemp View where a student can see questions and select answers. But i am confused that in asp.net there was an update pannel to post back part of a page but in asp.net core i think there is no option to post back half page. I am thinking to load all questions simultaneously and numbers of dives created as the no of questions. But it may heavy the app. Can you suggest better solution for online exam app in asp.net core
