how would i be able to learn about client server architecture with c#

Question

there is a database on a server computer and the client front end applications are connecting this server and the database . how will the database know which client is connecting the database , time of connection ....in c# please provide overview of client server architecture and the examples

You can provide connection string into configuration and check connection based on application. Also you can set time-out in connection string. each database has a connection property we call it connection string , which includes server name , database name and username and password (Authentication details if any otherwise windows authentication) , we specify the connection string in the application. so each application having the same connectionstring will point to same database.
