How to write transactions in C# and SQL

Hello Every one, im new to Development my question is how to write transactions in C# and SQL and is it good practice to write transactions in C# or SQL thanks in advance

Hi Santhosh, I personally prefer and suggest you to write transactions in SQL Server side. Let us think that we are having two command objects obj1 & obj2. So, firstly we pass the obj1 and try to insert the parent or primary table stuff. if it gets error, We are again coming to the nextline & trying and executing the obj2. Which is meaningless. Directtly by executing a transaction in db via stored procedure makes really sense right ? Hope you understood.
