How to write text on specific position in text file.

Question

I have to generate text file as above but value should be on specific position. above excel data coming from SP. first value will go as tc+960000000*cc then check 'find' it is 6 then check 'pos' it is 36 so 6 should be at position 36. then check find it is 111 then check pos it is 19 so 111 should go at 19 position. please help how can i achieve this.

If you edit the text file, it will be too hard to modify. The best way to store these text values into a datatable and then you can easily manipulate the rows and finally you can export as csv (or any format as per your requirement)

You can do that using Insert() method. Note , here "row" is an instance of SQL datatable row. tring str = row[ "tc" ] + "960000000* "; int .TryParse(row[ "pos" ], out int index); str.Insert(index, row[ "find" ]);
