how to use ms sql server in xamarin ?

Hi I have created a windows application with C# and ms sql as a database now , i want to create the same application for mobile (android) but need to use the same database. But i came to know that the xamarin uses sqllite as db and can some one suggest me how to inter link both and maintain a same database for windows and mobile application. P.S: if have any link for tutorial or reference pls share Thanks in advance.

Your Xamarin Mobile app should not connect directly to your SQL database.
