Configuring a code signing certificate with Azure Key Vault for signing purposes involves a few steps. Code signing certificates are used to digitally sign software ensuring its authenticity and integrity. You need a valid code signing certificate. You can either purchase one from a trusted Certificate Authority (CA) or generate a self-signed certificate. Make sure the certificate has a private key that you can export. If you don't have an Azure Key Vault create one. This vault will securely store your code signing certificate and private key. Add the code signing certificate to the Key Vault. During this process you will import the certificate and its private key. You can use the Azure Portal Azure CLI or Azure PowerShell to achieve this.
