how to solve hanging problem in sql query using vb 6.0.

hi friends,

please help me about the hanging problem in SQL QUERY at the same record access multiple user. when same record allocate the multiple user then hang the machine for 5-6 seconds.

Hi friend, There is 50000 records in database & please suggest how to use locking function in sql for resolving my software hanging problem. I used this function for storing data in data base while multi users are accessing the row at the same time. Hi.. How many records are there is the database?? If there are more records(i.e. the database is heavy), I would suggest that you migrate from VB6.0 to VB.NET or C#.NET. VB6.0 is now very old technology that is almost eradicated from the market.
