How to save the GUID of selected item in combobox?

hi,
if i select one item in combobox,click ok button then that items GUID is saved in table,i want save the GUID of which item i selected in the Combobox.i dont want save the selected item.plz give the code,plz help me,plz

well what you need todo is the following select id,value from tbl the ID is the guid and the value is the display than on the combo bind it to the sql return datatable this.cbPositions.DataSource =dt; this.cbPositions.DisplayMember = "Name"; this.cbPositions.ValueMember="ID"; and on selected take cbPositions.selectedValue
