how to remove row in string function

i am using multiline text box control .i want to store first 7 lines.remaining rows are removed string convertion .how to remove morethan one lines using string function.

You could do it using LINQ in C#. If your TextBox is named "textBox1", you could easily create a String variable containing the first 7 lines of TextBox by doing: String txtText = ""; textBox1.Lines.Take (7).ToList ().ForEach(x => txtText += x + Environment.NewLine); After that, txtText variable will contain the first 7 lines of text.
