How to prevent image resize after rotating the image

Hi Team, In our windows application, we are rotating the images based on its EXIF data. After rotating we are saving the image, but the image size is increasing. The image should be saved as it is without increasing the size. Below is the code. Dim rotateFlipType As RotateFlipType = OrientationToFlipType(orientationValue) bitmap.RotateFlip(rotateFlipType) after rotating the image using the above code, we are saving the image. but the image size is increasing. tempImage.Save(diresctoryPath & imageName, System.Drawing.Imaging.ImageFormat.Png). please help us.

Applying image processing to your image will usually result in an increase in the size of your image. If you are wanting to save the results of the rotation for your images, what you can instead try to do is save to a compressed format such as JPEG in order to keep your image size from increasing.
