How to pass a variable from one apicontroller to another ?

Hello, How to pass a variable from one web apicontroller to another web apicontroller? Here I wanted to pass a variable from one web apicontroller to another web api controller and use it there. In simple how to store and access the variables in different web api controllers? Please help. Thanks

you are violating the Http stateless principle but for per user scenario you can use below code HttpContext.Current.Items[ "ModuleInfo" ] = "Custom Module Info" And retrieve it like: string contextData = ( string )(HttpContext.Current.Items[ "ModuleInfo" ]);

I think it's not good programming to passing a variable from one API controller to another API controller. I suggest you to, return that variable from apicontroller1 and then take that variable as a request in apicontroller2.
