If you enter your name: Rajesh View code (Index.cshtml) "text" name= "txtusername" class = "form-control" placeholder= "Please Enter Name" > Controller code string name = Request[ "txtusername" ]; now run project and Debug this code. u get your value : Rajesh

I don't know where would you like to use this value. But suppose you want to use this value inside controller.
