How to expand only the selected node in treeview control?

Question

I have a treeview control. By default the treeview expands and shows all its child nodes. I need to show only the node that is selected.

It sure did work when the nodes are clicked. Thank you for guiding me...But i realized that it doesn't work when the text in the node is clicked. How to solve that? When the text is clicked, the topmost parent and child expands

I tried this. But when a new parent node is clicked the topmost parent node and child nodes expand without the current node being expanded. It works fine only for the first node and its children.

I am implementing the treeview along with sitemappath taking values from sitemap in a master page. By default all the treeview nodes are expanded which i don't need. Only the selected nodes have to be expanded.
