How to do pagination when displaying a file content on paragraph tag.

Hi can any body have idea that how we can perform pagination when we read from a long text file and showing on a tag. Because the file content is big and this require a lot of scrolling.

It can be done through javascript but in a different way. insteat of one level control,you should have 4(depends on you) level control. Devide the entire text in 4 level control and create separate for each level. Now initially visible one level control and hide all the other level controls. create 4 links as 1,2,3,4. Now say if he clicks on link 2. didplay the second level control and hide the remaining. Anyways initially you are making link 1 related level enable and all the other level disable,so next time whatever link he clicks, just enable it and disable the previously enabled link. I think it should work. For enableing and disabling the following javascript syntax can be used. document.getElementById("trExistingVendor").style.display = ''; document.getElementById("trExistingVendor").style.display = 'none';

Hi Vijay, I mean to say that. I am reading huge data stored in text file and on the click over a linkbutton (Runtime) I am showing it on a tag or I can show it on a lable tag on a aspx page. Now if this data is very huge, the user need to scroll down a lot to see the full content. I want to do pagination over here.So my a script should read the data and decide how any links it has to generate and clicking on those links I should be able to see next content on the same area. some thing like this. Previous > Next I have searched but found only when we are using database(Mysql, Oracle) and showing in the table rows, not specific to my senario. I think it can be done by Javascript but not getting the exact flow. Thanks.
