How to create Dashboard with auto search for users in DB?

Does any mate has some samples or examples, as to how to create dashboard for your users using autosearch?I want to implement it on my MVC application for registration of users and email notification. Just i dont know as how to do it due to limited experience to it in C#. Kindly please assist, thanks.
