how to copy current item using power automate

Hi All, How to copy current document from one library to another using power automate. I am able to copy all files. my question is when i an item is uploaded that document should copy using power automate . If I use replace in copy file. it copies all files. Please help me. Thank you, Sowjanya

Hi Sowjanya, You can use when file is create trigger and with it copy file action. It will help you achive the above business requirment. If you want to copy metadata also, you can use update file (properties) for after copying the file.

Hi Vikas, Thank you so much for your help I am able to copy. but emails notifications are coming twice My requirement is i want to copy document from one library to another and also there metadata by using power automate . When a document is added i need to send an email notification to the users. Thank you, Sowjanya.

Hi Sowjanya, I have created the flow which will address your both question regarding Copy file and Properties. Please find the attachment of zip file and you can import in your tenate and change the urls and document library name. If it helps you can accpet it solution for both the questions.

Hi Sowjanya, What you are doing is to copy multiple files. You should change the 2nd step. Get File Properties (Not Get Files ). This will get only 1 file and you dont need to go into loop. So only your current file will be copied and its properties mapping also you can do 1 to 1. Please let me know if you need a zip for this requirment, then I will create and share with you. Soruce and destination is same ? Can you please elobrate what is actual requirment. There is another set of options 1. Get file contents. 2. Get File properties 3. Create file (In destination ) and give your file name.
