how to copy a sql server database using C# code

hai expert................
how to copy a sql server database using C# code . I was using the following code
File.Copy("dbRDAgent.mdf", "" + strpath + "\\dbRDAgent.mdf");
an error occures that "the process cannot access the file "dbRDAgent.mdf" because it is being used by another process."

Hi, You can not do in this way, it will give the same error, because that file is being used by the sql server instance. even if you will try to copy and past the physical file also, using copy and past then also it will give you this error. you can take the backup of the DB and do the stuff or else you can detach the DB then you can copy the MDF file.
