How to bind data from gridview link button to form ctrls ?

Question

i want to bind data from gridview eidt link button to form controls which contains textboxes and dropdownlists for updating data .(not inside gridview control)

Second, you should wrap your code that eats resources such as SqlConnection and SqlCommand inside a using statement so object will be properly disposed after being used. Finally, you should never append the value directly to your SQL statements as it can leads you to SQL Injection attack. You should use parameterize query to avoid that. If you are not editing data within the GridView then just use a TemplateField column and add a LinkButton/Button there.
