How can we read text from Image File ??

my question is that, i have create an application about scanning images, and save into any directory . now i have to read text from that image file which i have scanned from scanning machine .. so how could read text from image file using c# ??

I agree, you can try the tesseract ocr engine, it's the best open source ocr library. and i find a free online ocr(http://www.online-code.net/ocr.html) using tesseract 3.02, you can use for testing before your coding.

The process of extracting the text from an image is called Optical Character Recognition (OCR). There are lots of examples and articles on the internet on how to do so. We went with leadtools sdk and it gave use all we needed.
