How can i improve the performance of the asp .net core web application

I have developed a web application. It has tacking much time to load every pages. How can i increase the speed and improve overall performance of the application.

If your application is hosted then you can put your url in below link that will give you all reasons of slowness https://gtmetrix.com/ If it is not hosted then here are my suggestions 1. Images should be compressed (of proper height and width not handled through css/javascript) 2. css and Js should be minified. 3. Less no of Ajax calls on page load. 4. Optimized Sql queries. 5.Enable Gzip or Brotli compression, if your Hosting provider doesn't support in this then let me know, i will share you the web.config settings for Gzip. However the root reason in most cases are the images, images takes long time to load that makes page very slow. also, if you are using Jquery datatable etc then don't load all data at once just fetch 10 records and use pagination to fetch the next 10 records on page number click. Note:- Even if you have optimized sql queries that takes 1 sec to execute but if you fill a Jquery Datatable or dynamically create elements using large amount of data then browser takes huge time to load the dom, so pagination is must.

Enable gzip compression Bundle CSS and JS based on the use case Also minify it What type of page it is, if it displays a list of rows, please don't load it in a single stretch, apply pagination concepts Check the network data from End to End application to load your page, try to utilise good architecture pattern. I would recommend to use the Benchmark Nuget package to benhcmark the performance of your core functions. This will give you an idea where the code is slow and memory utilization. You can then work to improve these.
