horizontal scrollbar does not appear (webbrowser or splitterpannel or splitcontainer)

Hi,
I have a WebBrowser control in a SplitterPannel in a SplitContainer.
The control is quite small so I need both horizontal and vertical scrollbars. My problem: the horizontal one does not show.
I have tried a few combinations of AutoScroll=true (for the splitterpannel, the splitcontainer, the form itself) and i also tried changing the SplitterPannel.HorizontalScroll properties... nothing works!
So please... help me!
