Help! Please!

Question

Hiya, I have the following problem: I have an array of objects, each element of the array is assigned to a class. When I then try to access individual class methods (e.g. array[i].initialize() ) I get an error message stating that the element doesn't have that member function?? Is there another way to do this? I cannot see where you are assigning xyz to test[]! you must use something like test[1] = xyz();

why pass it in as object? why dont u just pass in a xyz instead of a object info foo honestly am really confused on what u are trying to do to me it looks like u have a collection of xyz objects and u want to pass one of thoe objects into foo and execute a method if thats the case why not just do it without even passing it into foo? and in your foo member, i dont see u making a reference to xyz class at all so that coudl be why you cant execute somemember(); just tell me what u are trying to do in english and i will tell u how u do it in c# :)

class xyz { public void somemember(); } class dosomething { private object[] test; public void foo(object o, int size) { test = new object[size]; test[any i].somemember(); // gives error } } Where both classes have been instantiated and a foo is passed an instantiated xyz class. Any help is greatly appreciated! N.
