Handle validation for multiple buttons in single view in MVC

Hi All, How to Handle Validation for multiple submit buttons in one single view with its single controller using MVC If there's a solution please let me know it..

1. Instead of "submit" button you can use "button" as input type and rather than calling the controller action directly on the button click, call a js function on the button click and from that js function call the respective actions of the controller. 2. Another way is discriminate the post request based on what button is clicked for e.g. get to know that by id or class and then make respective operations.
