Getting values in DataGridViewComboboxColumn based on the other

Question

I have a DataGridViewCombobox for every column in a DataGridView. Now i want to have selected values in next column based on the value of first column from another table????????????
If anyone could suggest, pls help!

use sqldataadapter to populate the 2nd combo...choose the display memeber to be populated hope it resolves your problem

sorry for the delay!!! light chali gai thi!! Here i want that company name is displayed in first combobox and corresponding to that selected name, i want the item category in the next combobox(datagriedviewcombobox).....by fetching the itemcat_id from item_master where comp_id is the selected value....

The second field is also combobox!! Based on the selected value of first combobox i want to populate the next(second) combobox which will contain a different set of values i.e. from another table!!!

Hi Could you please be a bit more detailed on ur requirement. Please let me know if i'm right First column is a combobox field. Do you want to populate the value of this combobox in the second field? Please clarify so i can help.

You mean two different table of your database rite? In the item template make the comboboxs enabled. Then on selected index changed of the combobox populate the data in the next box., ie bind data accordingly to the combobox. Do you need the code? I can give you that in another 2 hours. as i'm not at home is it ok
