Getting The path but not able to find the file

Question

Hi all i have written the following code to separate the bin folder

string image_outputDir = System.Environment.CurrentDirectory;
                string str = image_outputDir.Substring(0, image_outputDir.IndexOf("\\bin"));

                objbll.SaveFileHeader(str);
                MessageBox.Show("Inserted Successfully");
                this.Close();

This is getting the output as saved but i am unable to find the required file can any one tell why..

I would like to save my file in a folder i.e created separately in the application any suggestions please

When i hit on save i have a message box as "Saved" this one is getting displayed but i am unable to find the text file in my application

I have a form with some text boxes and buttons i am going to save the data given in the text boxes in to a text file and would like to save it in my application path. I have written this to save my file string image_outputDir = System.Environment.CurrentDirectory; but it is getting the path of bin folder but i would like to save it in a folder named with some xyz in my application

I don't understand " output as saved " and " required file ".
