Embedded Images from other Project

Question

I want to display the photos in the folder "Images" directly on a
Image object (In AdProject). But this folder is in another project in my solution(In AdWebApi).

Does anyone know how I can do this?

In the Microsoft documentation, it says that it can be done this way, but I did not realize that instead of "..." what should I put !

MyImage.Source = ImageSource.FromResource("AdWebApi.Images.filename.png", typeof(...)?.GetType().Assembly);

When I do not have access to the objects of that assembly from Xamrin Project, how can I get typeof(Object) ?

Your all images have .jpg extension in /Images folder and in code you are refering to .png file change it accordingly at first. Secondly Check the following link to check how images can be embedded into project: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/68703458/show-images-from-another-project-in-xamarin-forms On a side note: if you want to reuse an image or any other static content in different applications you want to consider going for a CDN approach. CDN stands for Content Delivery Network. It's commonly used and also available in the cloud if you need it: http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/services/cdn/.

Hi There If your project namespace assembly is same for all sub project then you can use that embedded image from local project otherwise we need to get the embedded image from server like below code. [HttpGet] public IActionResult Get() { Byte[] b = System.IO.File.ReadAllBytes(@E:\Test.jpg); // You can use your own method over here. return File(b image/jpeg); }

If you can't access that project you can't do. I would rather suggest if your images are shared by multiple projects it's good to create another project (say name as Common) under same solution and move the images there. Now you cna refer this new project in all other projects whereever you need to use thsoe images.
