Embed image read from SQL DB in html email

Hi

I know there is a lot of examples on the net, but I can't get it to work. I tried the whole cid approach in more than one way with no success.

The image is stored in a SQL Server 05 table.

Is there any way I can add the image to the email without having to add it as an attachment or cid?
