Dropdownlist showing list of all countries in asp.net mvc

Question

Hi team I want an example in asp.net mvc form, where if i use dropdownlist it will show me list of all countries in the world including their zip code. Do i use enum to do this in asp.net mvc? please advice me and show me some examples surely i will work it out the rest, thanks mates.

Update following line i.e. @Html.DropDownList("CountryList", new SelectList(ViewBag.CountryList), new {@ class = "form-control" }) as @Html.DropDownListFor( m = > m.SelectedCountryId, this.ViewBag.CountryList as SelectList, new { @ class = "form-control" }) Where m.SelectedCountryId will hold your selection choice which maps to the ID associated with the text. Hi @Gcobani Mkontwana from ctry in objContext.Details select ctry objContext.Details is Context class.this is just an example. Tell me this. Hi, Better You need to load all countryId, countriesName and zipcode to the data base. Then retrive and show to the dropdown or chips like what ever you want. The country list db script available some open sources. other solution: Load data's in Json locally. If you want full source code. show some sample of your code.
