DropDownList Binding and Bind value storing?

Question

Hi all, Any body Know Drop down List Bind in Mvc and Bind the value is stored to database.Tell me guys... Example:Country and state binding 1)Country selected Corresponding state is Binding to the dropdown. and next 2) This Country and state value is stored to sql database..

Dear Shiva, Provided URL is for Single Level DropDown selection and not for multi level hierarchical DropDown selection. Although the provided URL single level DropDown list is dynamically loaded, the ony difference is that it is using text file instead of SQL server tables. Here is a quick idea -> you need to create Country and State tables in your database and add countryId_foreignKey into State table structure. Then, using my previous provided URL code you can create now two level DropDown lists instead of single level by calling Ajax call on Country DropDown OnChange event. This Ajax call will bind & update your State DropDown list according to the target country selection ID and eventually populates target State DropDown. If in case you have updated the lists in the database they will automatically be reflected on you DropDown lists provided that the page is refresh or DropDown lists are refreshed via Ajax call. asma you have give the url is ok but i have clearly mention dynamic binding country selected coresponding values is get state drop down list and next stored to these values ? how will take tell about how many tables we take in database geting and storing in database?
