Display red color for a specific row in gridview

Question

Hello, is there a way that I can display a background color (for example red) for a given row in gridview while keep all even and odd row with their default color?

Hello, I found this from Gooling and it worked DataGridView.Rows[2].BackColor = System.Drawing. Color .Red; Thanks for your all your help!

Hi Manish, I am still a newbee on VS2005 aspx and not sure how to use databound in grid view yet. Right now I have results of a SQL query save into a data table so that I can manipulate it first(add columns etc..) then assign DataGridView's data source to this datatable and "databind" it to display in aspx web page. I would like search for a match of key word in a row of this datagridview and assign the red color background to it. Example of my code below. DataTable dstable_MD = new DataTable(); .. Manipulate the dstable_MD... (add column/assign values etc..) code here... hi there, You can easily assign any color based on your requirements. You can assign Red color to selected row as follows. You need to declare your gridview as follows. asp : GridView SelectedRowStyle-BackColor ="Red" ID ="Grid" runat ="server" OnDataBound ="Grid_DataBound" OnRowDataBound ="Grid_RowDataBound" > asp : GridView > Hope this will help you.
