Different button access for both user and admin privilege.

Question

Hai , In my project how can I set privilege for both user and admin. I want to enabled the delete and update button for the user login. and admin can access all the button in that form. How can I set this in my c# windows application. Please anybody help this problem.

Hai Raja, In this message I have attached all the forms . kindly go through these form and give me any suggestion related that. First Form is login form(Here i can enter the username and password and click the login button it will show the mdi form) Second form is mdi form (Here i can access all the menustrip items, while i am click any menustrip item that form's delete and update button will be disable) Third form is In_House_Issues(In this form I can disable both delete and update button) How can I do this. Hi, Are you using session/global variable in your project ? If it is use it can easy. Very page you can check it user or admin.

In a login form i will give the username and password of the users. after i will click the login button mdi form will be opened . I n mdi form menustrip i will access any form . If am I user means i cannot access the update and delete button ,it will be in disable mode. Otherwise the buttons are enabled. How can I do this.Please help me.

Hi, Db change:- In login table add new column like Role Bit(1,0) Note: By default assign hard code for admin : 1. .CS file change Check the given login admin or user? If you user it can't modify/delete access Else admin you can access all rights.

Hi, Create one column like role as bit(0,1) in table using db, Admin as 1 and User as 0. When your login time check role is 0 or 1 based on you can proceed further . i hope get my point .

I have one mdi form,login form and three more forms.Here I want to login with admin and user based login. I will give the privilege to both users ,admin can delete and update the data's but user cannot delete and update the data's. How can I disable these two button while user login into the form. simple business stuff : admin : create ,edit,update,delete users and respective user right forms groups : if admin can perform user groups,create,edit,update,delete user groups and their respective permissions users : view,edit,delete permissions hope it clarifies and accept answer if it helps
