Deploy my desktop application

Hi,

I created an application which contains database connection code.

Now i want to install my application into another system.

How can i install and should i change the database connection code??

in .net 2010 c# click on new project-- other project types-----visual studio installer---setup project-- then in it choose application folder--- right click on it--- add-- file ---- add u r .exe project file in it.. then build solution... the setup will be created.. check it in name of setup which u r given.. in debug folder.. setup file is thier .. just copy & install on another System.. have fun.. try & send me reply.. free to help.. simply make setup for it... in that setup automatically u r database comes no need to change the connection.. hope this will help.. if u dont satisfied reply me...

another way if the database is in sql then share it..

use the svn tortoise software to install u r software on other system.. just right click on u r project folder then checkout.. for more information search on google about svn tortoise software.. useful to u.. no need to install u r software everytime.. just update it.. it will automatically make connection to u r database on other system.. hope this will help u.....

General::: the application u r created is in the c# or in the another lang.. if it is in c# then install vs2010.. or not then share sql database with another system with making another system in lan.. if u share sql database then u r able change the conection code.... Hi Gopal, Thanks allot. Actually the system in which i am going to install my application, it doesnt have Visual studio 2010. It has sql server. After installing my application; i want to connect their database. It means that i have to change Only connection string. How can i change connection string after i installed my application in the system. Darma
