Database Login

Question

Dear all.

I have created crystal report.
While opening crystal report through application it shows me Database Login Window.
I have used foll. code:
      string reppath = "";
                 con = oDAL.OpenConnection();
                 rd = new CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument();

                 string DOCENTRY = "";
                 ParameterFields myparam = new ParameterFields();
                 ParameterField param1 = new ParameterField();

Sorry Prabhu for late reply. I have tried ur solution. bt it is not working. its showing me same error. Is it due to some crystal report version problem. or some code problem.

I think, the problem is with Loading Crystal Report Document Object. You may change the line rd = new CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument(); To ReportDocument rd = new ReportDocument(); rd .Load(Server.MapPath("/anysubdirectory (optional)/CrystalReport1.rpt"));

Thanx for reply. I have used ur code bt its show me foll err:: Unknown Query Engine Error Error in File C:\DOCUME~1\PRAVIN\LOCALS~1\Temp\crpt1 {175B405B-A3B2-4ADF-843A-2179986B1900}.rpt: Unknown Query Engine Error

Hi, You don't need to give Database Login information to Crystal Report at every time. Try this one, TableLogOnInfo crtableLogoninfo = new TableLogOnInfo(); ConnectionInfo crConnectionInfo = new ConnectionInfo(); crConnectionInfo.ServerName = WebConfigurationManager.AppSettings["ServerName"]; crConnectionInfo.DatabaseName = WebConfigurationManager.AppSettings["DatabaseName"]; crConnectionInfo.UserID = WebConfigurationManager.AppSettings["UserID"]; crConnectionInfo.Password = WebConfigurationManager.AppSettings["Password"]; crtableLogoninfo = rd .Database.Tables[0].LogOnInfo; // rd is your report Document Object crtableLogoninfo.ConnectionInfo = crConnectionInfo; rd .Database.Tables[0].ApplyLogOnInfo(crtableLogoninfo);
