data saving while validation is occur

i have used if(!ispostback) in my load event in web page while i once save my data and press again save button the validation occure but data being save again and again how to stope data saving if all filed is blank.

yes it is very clear that you are not using page.IsValid property before saving the record so how the validation will work.

got your issue you are for sure forget to use if (page.IsValid) that is why your validations are not working. if (Page.IsValid) { save to db } for validations to work checking isValid property is a must.

That means you have not written validation method, you have to null/empty/whitespace check for mandatory controls.

i have taken validation controls to validate textboxes. its validating textboxes but also saving records in db.

data not exist in database. All fields are empty after click save button first time when all fields are blank and press save button validation occur but data being save.

you can check data is already exists in database or not
