CRUD operations with SQL Server Management Studio

Question

Hi, i have designed a form with some 4 labels and 4 textboxes with 3 buttons which is (save update and delete ) once i click the save button the records i enter should be stored in the sql server mgmt., studio,then i need to make some changes and update the record & it should reflect in the DATABASE also.Please send me the source code for this Regards, Sugitha

Is your code now modified after it is posted before? The error messages is actually in real plain English. It cannot be any simpler than that. Did you google that error message? The simplest thing you could do on your own. In your insert statement if you mentioned 3 columns then 3 values must be supplied. If you do not mention column names then values for all columns must be supplied. Share your code and table definition. Does table have an Identity column? If yes, which one?

If you read the error, you will notice, that you are not connected to SQL Server. The Error is Login failed for user ''. Where is your connection string? Do you have SQL Server Management Studio installed? Are you been able to login to SQL Server? Which authentication method are you using? Windows Authentication or SQL Server Login? Check your connection string it is the problem there.

or in update statement, instead of where ID, youcan give where USERNAME=@uname and PASSWORD=@pwd

did the record insreted,if insrted check ID column what is there, any thing is insertd.

I have used Insert option instead of the word save , the way it take is insert the records in the table .once it gets inserted it should be updated in the db right but it doesn't
