Create validation using jquery in mvc

Question

hello, 1)how to create validation (color red change to green ) using jquery in mvc. if you know validation of Html Helpers in mvc not simple html control then send demo source code.. 2) create a navigation menu using jquery it means when item get selected then each menu item should have its area to show ..please send both source code

Hi, You can do it very easily. First create a class then then use it on those cotrols which you want to validate. For example. .redError{ border : 1px solid green ; } use this class on controls when validation is false like this. $( "#tblAddressDetails" ).addClass( 'redError' ); if validation is true then use like this. $( "#tblAddressDetails" ).removeClass( 'redError' ); full code like. if ($( "#tblAddressDetails" ).val() == null || $( "#tblAddressDetails" ).val() == "" ) { $( "#tblAddressDetails" ).addClass( 'redError' ); return false; } else { $( "#tblAddressDetails" ).removeClass( 'redError' ); } I hope it will help you.
