Create SharePoint public site

Question

Hi All, I have a requirement to create a Public SharePoint site. Can anyone please tell me how we can create a site that anyone can access it through the internet. I need to create internet site using SharePoint on-premise or SharePoint Online. If it is possible then please share the steps that are involved in site creation.

Thank you all for sharing, I checked the Anonymous access links but my problem is that I want to host the SharePoint site publicly... Suppose If I search for amazon on google then it will open amazon site on the same line if I search for XYZ then it should open my SharePoint site.
