Create and write text file on another system

Hai Team, In windws application with in that i have to create and write a text file 1) the client system should create and write text file on server system 2) through the ip address the client system connected with server 3) http://localhost:8080/TextFile/3443.txt (location to create and write the text file)

Thanks for your reply Mario Scheeren using framework 4.0 . its an windows application i will create the setup and install it on client side system , after that the user save the data within the text file followed by the url location ( http://localhost:8080/TextFile/3443.txt) if the file exist within that location it should be (overwrite or delete and create new ) if file does not exist within that location it create new file and save tha data I have a source code for save the text file with in local system string pathsavetext = ""; pathsavetext = pathsavetext+"/" + fileid +".txt"; File.Create(pathsavetext); TextWriter txt = new StreamWriter(pathsavetext); txt.Write(readytowrite); txt.Close(); refresh(); return; but i want to store the file on server system please help me to solve this situation

So what do you need ? Client and Server? If only Client: How does the Server look like? Just POST a File and server does its work? If ony Server:What System is it hosted on ? What Framework(s) to use? The more information you provide, the better our help can / will be
