Hi string cs = ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings["Cnn"].ConnectionString; I want that this code shoudl be written at one place & not in any Model. Thanks

create one static class and a static method anywhere in your project public static class Common { public static string GetCon() { string connectionString = ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings[ "Cnn" ].ConnectionString; return connectionString; } } now call this as string cs=Common.GetCon();

Hi, you can't define class property inside it's constructor. Define it as below. namespace MyApplication.Models { public class Common { public static string connectionString = ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings[ "Cnn" ].ConnectionString; } }

In your solution, create a common class and in that define connection string and wherever you want to access it just use that common class and access that connection string. youe can define the connection string in constan public const string cs = ConfigurationManager.ConnectionStrings["Cnn"].ConnectionString; Define this in your common class
