Change password in the database.

Question

there are 3 fields.- emailID , new password and confrmPass when a user enters the EmailID then this field is checked from the database whether exist or not..if yes then it will update the old password with the new password on click of button.. in c# window application

Checking User Exit or not ? Use Ado.net : public string Check(string name) { sqlconnection con=new sqlConnection("Your Connection Strring") sqlCommand cmd=new sqlCommand("select name where username='"+name+"'from Your table name",con); DataReader dr=cmd.ExecuteReadeer(); if(dr.Read()){ string name=dr[0].tostring(); } return name; } Then by using the name you can change the old password with new password.
