Bot Framework QaA Maker and SharePoint

I currently have a QaA Maker bot and have been updating my knowledge base but would like to know if instead of updating the knowledge base with my sharepoint content, if I could just have my existing bot search the sharepoint site for me. In other words I would like users to lauch the bot ask it a question and have those answers pulled from the sharepoint site based on what is asked.
